Everyone wants to have the most attractive mate, whether possible or not, but choses the best of what his circumstances allow. Recent researches on female body attractiveness reveal that torso, waist, bust and hip measurements count the most in female body attractiveness. But this omits three important points of my view, facial features, and skin attributes provided by a layer of fat on the body.
Attractiveness and beauty are two distinct aspects of a person. Attractiveness is always subjective while beauty is an objective attribute. Attraction may be for reasons other than beauty, such as emotional attachment, intellectual impression, creativity, etc. A person emotionally attached to or intellectually impressed by another finds ways to remain attracted towards the other whether the person is considered beautiful or not by others.
A person is, first of all, recognized by his/her face and this biases the viewer's opinion about the attractiveness. Once, while I was young, saw a girl sitting in a restaurant with her friends and she looked to me very beautiful without even knowing what made her face so beautiful. I sat on a table nearby to investigate what feature of the face made it beautiful. After some scrutiny, I reached the conclusion that projecting mounts just below the eyes and above the cheeks made her face beautiful. Incidentally, this feature is also a sign of good health of the person. Since then, I have verified this feature from many a beautiful faces. Other feature such as eyes, nose and lips also matter.

Soft, smooth and glowing skin of all shades from black to brown to red to white makes a female body universally attractive. Conversely, a male attracts by his rough and tough looking skin and body. These attributes of the skin come from a smooth uniform layer of flesh under the skin of the female body. This hides all sharp bony projections on the body. For this reason, flesh is a great reason for female sexual appeal.
Apart from these, following facts about female attractiveness are revealed by researches -
- Tall light body with a narrow waist,
- Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 to 24.9 is considered normal which is computed from body height and weight using the formula -
. Incidentally, this index is also used for measuring health and wellness of the body.
- Waist to hip ratio (WHR) of 0.7 is considered ideal for a female body however only 8 percent of the women are found to have bodies of this type. Here peripheral measurements of the lowest on the waist and highest on the hips is taken into consideration.
- Breast-waist-hip measurements of 36"-29"-38" are considered ideal for a female body which is very rarely found. However, this indicates that projecting breasts and heavier hips clearly demarcated by a narrow waist are the key measurements of female beauty.
- Long arms with inclusion of long fingers are other signpost of female beauty.

Body attractiveness is not only important for attracting a mate but also for success in evolutionary, social and economic fields of life. A good health is the greatest point of attractiveness which brings all other attractive features to the body.
For the world, a person is known by three aspects of his - personality, style and make-up. Personality means body and mind of a person, while his/her style means outlook and behavior with others, and make-up means his/her dress and other outfits on his body. Every one aspect of these creates an impression of the person on the outside world and harmony of all the aspects with each other makes the influences cumulative and hence more intense. Conversely, when the three aspects speak differently, their influences may get cancelled out by each other.
It is not important what you want to look like but how others perceive your presence. So, social norms of the time play important role in creating influence of a person. Once, I was wandering looking for some wild plants on a water-stream bank, some students saw me and I heard one telling others, "Just see a scientist!" They knew me not and I am nor a scientist in its familiar meaning neither had intentionally tried to look like a scientist. But they perceived me like that due to their own mindset about the scientists.

The personality is what people perceive out of what the body of the person expresses through its look, and what he/she thinks, and what he/she does. Undoubtedly, this being the originality of the person, plays the most important role in his/her influences on others. Face of the person is the face of the personality. Any artificial manipulations of personality features are easily recognized by others and so create a bad impression of the person. So, be original what you are - nothing more, nothing less, to be treated as a genuine person by the world. Your personality makes the core of impression while your style and make-up are peripheral and so must be supportive to your personality.
Style includes facial expressions, body language, speaking accent, body postures while sitting, standing, walking etc. One day while walking down to my village from a near-by village, a familiar young-man on a motorbike moving in the same direction stopped close to me and said, "I could not recognize you from your walk which appeared to be of 35." and he offered me a ride to the village.
The most dominating style feature is your speaking and the surest test of its being effective is that people must listen to you when you speak. In this both the voice and accent matter. But any artificiality in style is easily caught unless you are well experienced in it. The best style for anybody is to have his/her originality with some training and practice to perfect it. Don't copy or imitate anybody else be make your style stronger and exhibitive.
The last thing comes the make-up including the dress which is looked first by a stranger. Dress may speak of a person's wholeness if he/she wears what he/she likes the most or be what he/she loves to be. While some professions need the most trendy clothes on the body, many others need a casual wear. Everyone of us a spectrum of traits in his/her personality and a spectrum of people and places he/she visits. So, be careful in dressing in accordance with the occasion, or in accordance to whom you are going to meet or impress. For the dashing and adventurous, colorful dress may suit but for the matured mental activists sober colors serve better. White fits all occasions and professions. Only thing one needs to take care is its tailoring and cleanliness.

Some occasions and opportunities may need you to get easily mixed up with others while some other occasions may demand you to outshine. I call these two occasions as cooperative and competitive. This decides how you are going to dress and speak up on the occasion. Often, social gatherings are cooperative while professionals are often competitive.
Perfection is an attribute of a task accomplishment, and not that of a person. So, saying that 'Nobody is perfect' is misconceived. A person may be perfect only when his/her all the accomplishments are perfect which is an impossible thing to achieve. In practice, all of us take up tasks with different interests and aims and many tasks as a routine affair. So, a perfect accomplishments of all the tasks is practiced by anybody. So perfection is a task-wise accomplishment and this what we shall mean here.

Achieving perfection is neither easy nor convenient, but in-spite of the difficulties people strive to achieve it as it provides immense and unparalleled satisfaction to the achiever. Efforts to achieve perfection may cause some frustration, a lot of struggles, and sometime even failures but the prospective achiever does not get disheartened by these negative influences and has to keep on trying. Achieving perfection not only means improving the performance but also maintaining it at a high level of excellence. Therefore, it involves continuity of efforts, not only until the goal is achieved but also thereafter for ever.
Achieving perfection on a job requires a psychological bent of mind rather than physical labor for it. Five key points have been found to achieve it -
- Love your Job : Perfection could only be achieved if the performer loves the job and he/she is passionate about it. This passion provides fuel for focusing on the job, resilience to on-the-way setbacks, and perseverance for achieving the perfection. So, choose to achieve perfection on the job that you love to do, else leave it to your routines forgetting about achieving perfection. As aforesaid, nobody can achieve perfection on all his/her performances.
- Begin with the most difficult part of the job : Convenience-seeking people choose the easiest part of a job to begin with and on reaching the difficult parts, get disheartened and often leave the job half-way. Perfectionists, however, begin with the most difficult part of the job and so keep on enjoying their performances as the easier parts are reached. Since the person has the maximum energy and enthusiasm in the beginning, the most difficult part gets accomplished with ease. And this ease continues with diminishing energy and the difficulty of the job.
- Be an intensive performer : Intensity of attention in application of skills matter a lot in achieving perfection. For this, two psychological facts are to be noted - a person may have intense practice on a job for a maximum of 90 minutes at a time, and an intense practice may be had for a maximum of 4.5 hours a day. With these, a break is highly recommended when the performer feels exhausted of his energy for the job to rejuvenate him/herself, and the performing duration be scheduled for 4-5 hours a day only with fillers for the routine activities.
- Get expert feedbacks with intervals : Precise feedback on the performance from experts of the field with reasonable intervals helps in improving the performance through adjustments in the working. However, too much of it dampens the spirit of achieving excellence and does not provide opportunity of introspection and self-improvement for the performer.
- Ritualize the Job : Body clock puts some regularity in the performance. If a job is taken up daily at a specified time, the performance gets repeated without much of efforts.

With these tips, practicing excellence becomes a routine affair for the performer needing not much of conscious efforts. However, in the beginning, consciousness of achieving perfection is essential.
Every risky endeavor induces a sense of insecurity in the mind of the person and a reassurance of secured feeling makes the person to jump to take risk easily. It has been found through researches that an affectionate feminine touch reassures the person and makes him/her courageous to take risk. This is found applicable not only for humans but animals also.

All infants have the first touch of assurance of security from their respective mothers which gets ingrained in their minds and remains there for the whole of their life times. Due to this assurance of security, the child steps into the world to explore it and move forward. For the same reason, every female is first seen as a symbol of security, care, love and affection not only by males but by females also and this feeling continues until the opposite is encountered for an individual female through an experience. Even then the same feeling continues for other female persons. This feeling of care, love and affection gets translated into a sense of security in the mind of the person and preparing him/her to explore the world with an optimistic viewpoint and courage.
Womanhood has the greatest role in pioneering the whole society to a feeling of security and this is done through motherhood - the supreme power of the universe. Even inspiring sisters and sister-in-laws are considered equivalent to mother in traditional India ethos. A man looking for a woman for marriage, searches first the motherly traits in the woman to feel secured in her arms. Even a daughter is expected to be a replica of mother for the father and to provide her services of caring. Thus, every person - male or female, looks for a motherly touch in emotional bonds with some woman for a hopeful happy survival. Children who get deprived of it do not groom in to healthy happy adults.
Researchers have found that when a person is indecisive or is in the process of taking a critical decision, he/she is prompted to decide through a contact with some woman with whom he/she gets motherly affection. This soothes his/her mood and mind and makes him/her optimistic. For this, a momentary pat on the shoulder or even a phone call is found to be effective.

In scientific terms, a motherly touch induces release of the social bonding hormone - oxytocin in the mind of the subject. This provides him/her the sense of security and enables him/her to be decisive even under risky conditions when cortisol - the anxiety hormone, might affect them.
